The most important qualities a
volunteer needs are flexibility, plenty of initiative, lashings of common sense and the
ability to live in basic conditions (the village has no electricity or running water). Useful extras would be teaching experience (especially TEFL) and an interest in the areas of health development, the environment and agriculture. Ability to knit is not required! |
